Combating the Agenda Panacea

Strategically speaking this week Russia’s Prime Minister Vladimir Putin seems to be in continuing control of an organized agenda to increase Russia’s tactical presence in the country of Georgia. So far tough words from western and NATO leaders have had little effect upon moving Russian troops back to August 7th positions.
It seems that the western Agenda Panacea to provide security to European nations as well as former satellite states of the Soviet Union has been challenged. To put this in some perspective, tough words are contrasted against tanks, troops, and empty promises.
What do both sides share in common? Words of course. Tough empty words or empty promise words are just words none the less. In that context, troops and tanks win. How difficult is that to understand?
The current paradigm of mutual understanding in the world seems to state, if we all just come together and share our differences, we can all then go home, do like we have always done and celebrate our diversity. If we can do that with sincerity, so much the better.
To put this into some sort of American context, for the next couple of months we have entered into a quatra-annual Presidential election contest. In this exchange, words are the only reality. Each is spun in the context of a significant Agenda Panacea. That simply means if you choose to support my words, the words themselves will transform society into the panacea the words describe.
So just as God spoke creation into existence, we humans can do the same, ex nihilo. In most of human history this concept was considered blasphemy. Of course we humans believe in God and in Jesus, but not a stern and jealous God, but a friendly God who accepts my good words and turns them into prosperity, especially material prosperity.
You can either tune in or tune out to hear politicians tell you what you want to hear, and what you always believed you deserved. Can’t you just feel the love and the change it will bring? Everything is beautiful in it’s own way.
Of course that only applies to those who share your own particular Agenda Panacea. Those who have a different Agenda Panacea want you to accept there spin as the spiritual and economic gospel also. They of course are sojourning in the light of their own illusionary creation. However, it is sure nice I have it all together in this world I am creating for myself.
By now you might be thinking this week’s article is about you, but you are wrong. This week’s article is about all those other mean, nasty, and downright evil people like the Putin dude, trying to take over little Georgia.
As you can plainly see, both of us just want to be left alone to do our own thing. What is so difficult about that?
Well those people, you know those people, they need to have converts to their Agenda Panacea to get paid. If you don’t have converts, write a book about your vision for achieving your Agenda Panacea, you just are not going to get on cable television or talk radio.
Even that traditional values guy, Bill O Reilly, realizes you have nothing to say without an Agenda Panacea and a book. How his viewers and listeners can agree or disagree, if you come a cross as just a normal bloke, and not some expert from out of town. Let’s face it squarely; you are neither Pinhead, nor Popinjay material.
So the reason for hundreds of cable television channels, successful right wing and not successful left wing talk radio, the msm (main stream media), blogs (except obviously Wonder Springs), is to promote some sort of Agenda Panacea. Of course their sponsors have an Agenda Panacea also, they want you to buy their product. If you pick the right Agenda Panacea, that enterprises’ CEO can make more money in an hour than you can make in a lifetime.
Taking this back to one of the original Agenda Panaceas, we can see the context of the thought we are trying to convey in the 1971 hit “Signs” by the “Five Man Electrical Band.” The only difference now is that the signs are much more belligerent. Of course I can’t really relate to being a “Long-haired freaky people” either, because at that time I was a Military Intelligence Officer stationed in Germany, protecting our way of life from those Cold War Ruskies that could invade at any moment. Vladimir Putin and I have some similar roots, it is just he found that Soviet style of an Agenda Panacea to his liking; I did not even like the Allied version.
From what I understand, the real Agenda Panacea for that era was “Turn In, Turn On, Drop Out” (and in five years you too can be selling Insurance, copy machines, or real estate and buying your house in the ‘burbs). Shoot, you if you play your cards right you might even go to law school, or if you can’t get into law school you can earn an MBA, become a governor, and maybe even the President. It can and does happen in America provided you get involved in the right Agenda Panacea, such as “The era of big government is over,” or “I’m a compassionate conservative.”
So how do we combat the continuing and escalating power of the Agenda Panacea elite?
I realize the solution might sound revolutionary in our present world order, but the antithesis of the Agenda Panacea is freedom and liberty. Now this is a different freedom and liberty than is describe in the typical Agenda Panacea pitch. The Creator bestows this freedom upon all humanity, but it must be achieved not merely by words but also by actions operating in tension. As the late Tony Snow said, in that quest God will quickly take you “off road.” Off road is where your security is at risk for the sake of the cause.
The Russian Agenda Panacea now in operation in Georgia is to quench relatively new freedom and liberty not only in Georgia, but Ukraine, the Baltic States, and even Eastern Europe. In doing so they hope both to secure operating room for the increasingly repressive Russian Federation and to ultimately quench the real threat from NATO and the still much more free western culture. But do not be mistaken, the battle is not about land, money, or even oil, the battle is all about freedom and liberty.
Bringing it home to America, next week will begin the Democrat Party Convention in Denver. If you watch any of it on TV you will hear similar bellicose statements you now hear emanating from Russia. Capping off the festivities you will get to hear a Agenda Panacea revival sermon, given from the 75,000 seat Invesco Field, just like a real big time religious revival service. Hallelujah! Praise you Barak.
Following that camp meeting, you will get a somewhat similar Agenda Panacea meeting from the Republican Party. However instead of nominating a young messiah type to be the Presidential nominee, the Republican nominee might not have walked with Moses, but surely ate dinner with Ben Franklin.
Then once all that is finished we will be treated to just about two months of Agenda Panacea relating to, not illegal immigration, but taxes, energy, wars, and perhaps some targets of opportunity that have not currently immerged. Wouldn’t that new target be great!
Throughout that time friends and acquaintances, computer calls saying support Barack, or John or a whole host of local candidates will badger you, if they think you are or might be interested in their particular Agenda Panacea. Which of those solicitations you receive will not be generated by who you are as a person, but what some computer program thinks you might be.
At least at the current level of western diplomacy your response to all these request for your Agenda Panacea report should be, “Just how will supporting you, or this cause make me more free and give me more liberty?”
As we wrote about last week, authority may be given from on high, but power comes from the individual. This is the true basic tenant of the American experiment. We have no leadership today because the authorities in the Agenda Panacea (notice I didn’t say leaders) do not understand this basic reality of not only America, but the whole world.
Liberty and freedom are just tough words, no need for tanks and troops, but you will interestingly see people dashing for cover, just as they would from the sounds of incoming rounds from a large howitzer.
Now that you have the Agenda Panacea disciples on the run why not go for a route, how about such topics such as: integrity, the republican form of government, real leadership credentials and experience, the effects of excessive governmental regulations, to name a few.
Let’s draw some truly worthwhile synergisms from the Iraq war. As long as the United States was fighting the war as a conventional military conflict, we took quite a beating. Likewise you are now getting beat and hammered to a frazzle by the Agenda Panacea on numerous fronts. Once we brought in a General who understood the nature of counter insurgency warfare the battle changed dramatically.
No longer were the insurgents in Iraq free to impose their Agenda Panacea on the Iraqi population by force, the battle shifted onto their turf and there their repressive Islamic ideals not only lost militarily, they also lost face in the eyes of regular citizens. Freedom and liberty are now carrying the culture, and would have done so much sooner if the war would have been fought properly, instead of from the Agenda Panacea of a colonial invader.
So now is the time to begin to combat the Agenda Panacea and there typical recruits. They only patrol the media, because they are afraid, perhaps more than any other class of humanity to go off road, to fight the battle of the ideals upon which this country was founded.
I heard a quote from John McCain’s dinner companion Ben Franklin this week. When asked by a spectator at the close of the Constitutional Convention, “Well Doctor, what do we have, a monarchy, or a republic?” To which Ben was said to reply, “A republic, if you can keep it.”
Those words ring just as true today as they did in 1787, but today the application is applicable to the whole world. Freedom and liberty will only remain, if individuals are willing to keep it.”
Fixing this nation or the world will not come from the Agenda Panacea, it will come from you, supporting only those leaders that stand for liberty and freedom. The power rests with the people, it always has, deposed despots whether in the private or public sector, don’t or can’t grasp that concept.
