Natural Law reality trumps human desires.

This week George W. Bush began his flesh eating book tour promoting his presidential memoirs. ŇDecision PointsÓ give the presidentŐs perspective of the events that shaped his administration. I watched a number of these bookselling happenings, and Bush seemed to be secure in the knowledge that history will judge his time in office favorably.

The interview I found most interesting was BushŐs VeteranŐs Day discussion with the ŇNo Spin guyÓ Bill OŐReilly. Here sits the former president well relaxed in what looks like a uncomfortable but formal chair and there is OŐReilly upright and scooted to the front of his, like he alone will extract nuggets of golden truth not mined by others. Chill Bill, after dealing with 9-11 and the collapse of the worldŐs financial system, any interview is going to be somewhat amusing, no matter the interviewersŐ determination.

What I found most disturbing is the reality that the president did not see the financial meltdown coming. Over inflated housing prices have been part of my talking points since the late 1980s. So why is it all the worldŐs leaders, including Bush couldnŐt see it coming and take corrective steps sometime in those twenty years? The ineptitude, of our national and international leadership out of touch with real reality, I find beyond the grasp of my still primitive brain.

During the week Glenn Beck did a three part series on his shadow-lands world leader George Soros. It SorosŐ own words Beck illustrated what could be best described as the Soros God complex. One attribute, the prime attribute of the real God, not present in Soros is immortality. So the 80 year old ŇSpooky DudeÓ doesnŐt have a lot of time left to remake the world in his image, so maybe he will just settle for collapsing the American dollar and let all his other world changing desires, fade into the chaotic noise of failed human aspirations.

I have no doubt that Soros is working to devalue the dollar and make it part of just a basket of currencies that he hopes will become the basis of some sort of global government. IŐm also sure there are maybe a few thousand people, part of a continuum from very intelligent to not so smart, that are in the process of helping him out, as they follow a diverse path to make money the god of this world.

What all the Spooky Dudes Anonymous members donŐt seem to understand is there is a God that is the creator of all, he is immortal and a whole host of other real God attributes. In his creative omnipresence and omniscience, the world he created runs on complex natural laws, most of which we fallen humans donŐt seem to like and hence ignore to the detriment of their and our sinful aspirations. So in the immortal words of Forrest Gump, when stupid is as stupid does, and it all comes crashing down, natural law will be the major trump card of human desires.

In the Good Book, the Bible, that today we generally consider a collage of historical myths, in the beginning we see that God created it all. In Genesis 1:1 that creation is best described as perfect chaos. So far that myth seems to mesh well with the Big Bang myth.

Following immediately the God revealed specific worldview and natural law, diverge irreconcilably with human wishful thinking. In the God worldview natural laws are used to create the world aswe know it in short order. The Bible uses the term days, which is incomprehensible to humanity except in the context of what we all call today as days.

What is always lost in this discussion of day length is the reality that through natural law the universe was changed from total chaos into individual diversity. In that process, what we today call the sciences were created, biology, chemistry, physics, and a host of others. Those sciences really are or should be the studies of natural law that relate to the world we live in, just as they were before the formal beginning of The Enlightenment.

Sadly, as has been the case with most of human history, when you remove God from the reality of science you also lose the ability to correlate natural observations with the true God created natural law reality. The slowly dying myth of human induced climate change being the most recent scientific spin of such advancements of evolving human understanding.

Going back to the creation myths, enlightened mankind unable to comprehend how any God could create a world in short order, determined there must be a better way to explain, not just the creation of the universe, but also the diverse creation we see in everything and of life itself. Gee wiz perhaps if we just stretch out the creation week to millions and billions of years and disregard all of organizational natural law science, except those which we can redefine in our own understanding, we can create an atheistic worldview and we will call it evolutionary science.

The great thing about evolution is since there are no absolutes of any nature; we can make up the rules on the fly. Hence natural laws are meaningless if we so determine they need not apply. So if we hope to control the real world of continual climate change, we can decide that our use of fossil fuels is destroying the world, and if we regulate them, we can save the world, and make a lot of money in the process.

Leaving man caused carbon dioxide and animal flatulence as necessary gases for life, we come to the true nature of our worldŐs and the United StatesŐ real problem. Since each human individual is now capable of understanding good from evil, I will define my world in reality as good and as long as you agree with me, you are good also. If you do not agree with me, then you are evil.

But since we have redefined our universe as some evolving cosmic good and evil canŐt exist, then you are stupid, not enlightened, primitive, maybe and especially if you believe in some cosmic force that canŐt be subject to human comprehension you are at worst a Ňspooky dude.Ó Spooky dudes need to be avoided because they upset our limited perceptions of the way we think the world should work.

So today, the redux of the American nation is taking place where the liberal progressive spooky dudes are tensioned against the conservative traditional spooky dudes. So what we really see is our spooky dude differences rather than our spooky dude commonality. In a world without God we really have no place to turn for an absolute understanding of humanity and the complex outside world. When we canŐt comprehend that reality, we begin to fear reality.

In the myths of the Bible we have a catastrophic destruction of the world and human culture described as the Genesis Flood. Again we canŐt comprehend such an occurrence that destroyed the world in basically a forty-day rainstorm, but given enough evolving time, that is no problem. That is climate change none of us can believe in. Then if you follow that with one or a number of ice ages to get us where we are today, we again just canŐt get a handle on that type of change. So why donŐt we just attempt to create a world in which we can control all the outcomes and ignore the reality of creation.

If we all just work together there is nothing we canŐt achieve. We see that concept in the Bible just another few chapters into the book of Genesis in chapter 11. Put in twenty-first century terms, if we all just work together to build a world of mutual respect and global commerce we can create heaven right here on earth. At least provided no spooky dude aliens interfere.

The crux of the problem is this eternal heavenly utopia is a true God thing; our achievement of such a grand human design still must function within a world in which individual diversity is the focus of all natural law. That is true for the small spring yellow buttercup flower, to the genius of human desires.

So in that grand design of a limited age of GodŐs progressing time, George Soros has a defined role to play, and that probably will have an effect of what will happen in the near future in these United States as it relates to our money, and also in the bigger picture around the world. When GodŐs is through with the designs of George Soros, he will cease to exist and go to his eternal reward.

In the Old Testament, biblical Israel had eventually to undergo a seventy-year captivity in Babylon until they again regained the humility to become GodŐs chosen people. Saddam Hussein had the desire to become a modern day Nebuchadnezzar. Saddam Hussein is no more, except a despotic footnote in human history. George Soros will eventually also meet the reality of this present limited age.

In the process of all of this, the dreams of a world of mutual respect and global commerce will disappear. Just look at all the peace and harmony that flowed out of the G20 meetings in Korea and American and the worldŐs outrage against the US Federal ReservesŐ quantitative easing.

If we canŐt agree on how to value our money god, how are we going to continue this world of peace and harmony? However if we limit our problems to just money and not being able to get along, we miss the importance of natural law.

All this one world of peace and harmony through global governance is truly a totally unattainable in terms of what I call ecological energetics. That is just a scientific method of understanding how energy flows through creation. All this warm fuzzy harmony exists because of cheap oil to literally grease the economic wheels. The truly sad thing about the world of finance, bankers, and crony market makers, is we donŐt really have any idea what is the truly free market price of a barrel of oil.

Human potential is based upon natural law reality that trumps all our best and worst intentions. If we are unwilling to look at those realities, and continue to hope for a world based upon universal consumption base solely on fiat money exchange rates, it is a long fall to the bottom.

In a world where everyone wants to get as much as they can for what they produce, supply and demand are only obtusely related. A recent presentation on Business Insider by a Canadian, states that we have basically 10 years to restructure American energy consumption, especially as it relates to transportation.

I do not necessarily agree with everything presented, because it assumes peak oil. But todayŐs infrastructure principle in which all of North AmericaŐs transportation is based upon cars, trucks, and airplanes focuses upon a past reality. Putting up a huge number of windmills, solar panel arrays, and nuclear power plants, is not going to change the reality that building new twentieth century highways and airports for the twenty-first century is where we need to put our priorities.

North AmericaŐs population centers are on both the right and left coasts and the great fly-over and drive-through is not going to change, especially if we do nothing. This is especially true in the United States where our century old experiment with building transcontinental rail through government sponsored land speculation hasnŐt really worked out all that well.

The problem is not really technology. The problem essentially in the United States is that the progressive-liberal-big government bureaucracy model is totally incapable of the natural law economies of scale required to do the job. Only crony capitalism has access to the capital to make it happen, but they fully understand that, we have created a big wasteland of two to three thousand miles where all investments are really just sunk costs with limited or negative returns. Thus we can see just one end of what Americans are now calling American exceptionalism.

Necessity is the mother of invention.

Natural law is based upon GodŐs creation that focuses upon individual opportunity. The reason the great fly-over and drive-through exists is because for a century or more there really has been no human opportunity anywhere but in coastal urban centers. That centralization is basically based upon centralized government planning and infrastructure development. As bad as it is in North America, it is even more pronounced in what we shall call the colonial world that includes Africa, South America, and much of Asia as well.

We will close today with a thought that the future of humanity on this blue planet needs to again focus upon human diversity and creativity, and not just the accumulation of material goods. The founders of the American republic, uniquely in time and place, understood that gifts that freedom and liberty provided. The solutions are not that difficult, but will take more a change of focus, from what can man achieve on this earth, to what were GodŐs goals in putting this whole universe into complex motion.

Natural Laws will always trump selfish human desires, all we need to do is to allow God the rightful place in our lives and then natural laws will again create opportunities for a better future not only for us but for all of humanity. The last five hundred years after the Protestant Reformation proves that axiom, how far we need to fall to seek that redux is the twenty-first question for the United States and the whole world.
