hoped that discretion be used, not so much with its dissemination, but do
understand, as many have said, ÒThis is a time of war on terrorism!Ó Please

It has been a long time since I sat in the secure area of
the Headquarters of the Army Security Agency Europe. That day we were being
visited by our Commanding General, referred to as ÒLong Haired Charlie,Ó for
his hair was much longer than any of the junior officers could get away with.
During that two hour intelligence briefing we learned more about the strategic
reasons for our assignment than anyone of us believed possible. Each of us was
there for a reason and only Charlie knew what that reason was until he told
virtually each one of us. Thus in the intelligence community the need to know
is critically important. That criteria will be important as the United States
begins its war on terrorists. That secrecy was also the reason why the attack
on New York and the Pentagon were ÒsuccessfulÓ in the eyes of the terrorists.
From that briefing with Charlie we learned we were there for a reason.
Christians, Jews, Moslems, and all people who stand for good in this world must
remember that they too have a reason for where they are, and what they are
doing. Even if at this time they do not know, or understand the reasons. The
God that created the universe understands the situation and not only knows, but
controls the final outcome.
Jeremiah 17:9 states: "The heart is deceitful
above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?Ó
To fully understand what I am about to say, you must be
at least aware of that possibility and be willing to look at those
ramifications. As I was watching some of the coverage of the ÒAttack on
AmericaÓ a spokesman for the Israeli government stated that this attack was too
sophisticated to be carried out by an organization. An attack of this precision
and magnitude requires some sort of state sponsorship. He mentioned some
potential world capitals and eventually Kansas City. As he continued, he said
that sponsorship could have been, last week, last month, last year, or five
years ago.
In more straight forward terms, as is now reported Osama
bin Laden, and his organization were probably involved in this undertaking.
Perhaps, he would like to believe that he was in some way influential in its
success, which well he may be, but according to his own statements he was
appalled at the destruction. The only state that has endorsed these attacks is
Saddam HusseinÕs Iraq. Therefore this man, who deserves the title of the
worldÕs most prominently evil man, should not be left without reprisal. He is
guilty by association if nothing else. But reprisals should not be directed at
the Iraqi people. These attacks need to be designed not to kill him but to put
the fear of God into the heart and mind of the so called reincarnation of
Nebuchadnezzar. If the original, had to learn his lesson (Daniel 4), this
imposter should fare no better.
One hundred years ago, the American President Teddy
Roosevelt spoke ÒSpeak softly and carry a big stick!Ó Over the last decade or
so, the voice of America has become, ÒSpeak brashly and carry a willow wisp,
and if people donÕt give you the respect you think you deserve, whine a lot.Ó
The United States response to these terrorist incidents will come through the
ÒPowell DoctrineÓ which is basically the same as RooseveltÕs adding Òhave a
sound exit strategy.Ó
Contrary to the comentary you might hear on television,
the nature of the command and control (the structure and systems that make any
operation function) that put together these attacks in this internet age, is
such that you will never detect them before the fact, without GodÕs intervention, or what the world
would call luck. It would not be that hard to put together a similar plan in
which the perpetrators did not know one another until they came together just
before the attack. Of what normal people would call the communications required
to pull this off, the least secure is what we call Òsecure internet encryptionÓ
Real security of the communications for these operations could be completely
undetectable before hand, given the volume of internet and wireless
communications.
Individuals properly placed would also be undetectable by
personal intelligence. Out of more than 250 million people in this nation, the
whole plan could be carried out with an organization of less than 25 persons in
the whole world, with only one or two people knowing any other operatives. Now
as of this writing, preliminary findings are such that this organization was
not that small, not that good. But still those with the need to know the
details of this terrorist operation were quite small and would be essentially
undetectable if people lived and worked under their own identities and did
nothing stupid, until the attack.
Now the world is divided by the forces of evil, and not
the forces of good, but the forces working in the grace of God for good. The
command and control structure of the forces of evil are the best the world has
to offer. They are united in their determination to succeed, for their own
gratification and for eternal and demonic reasons. They can control the hearts
and minds of mankind to simply do their bidding. But as Jeremiah said, most of
the time man needs little help from evil demonic spiritual guidance, we do
quite well on our own, thank you.
GodÕs grace army, while much less visible and organized,
by GodÕs own design and purpose will eventually win the war. Biblical prophecy
teachers speak and keep us aware
of the Antichrist, the mark of the beast, the return of Jesus Christ for His
church in the rapture, the judgement of the earth, and a whole host of other
end time events. While I seldom venture into this field, I would like to make
some comments about a pertinent section of the Book of Revelation.
Certain Biblical commentators from non dispensational, or
non premillenial eschatologies, divide the Book of Revelation into seven
different scenarios of the same period of time, the reign of Christ in heaven.
These begin with the ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven after His
resurrection and continues until His Second coming. While the reign of Christ
from heaven makes sense and is biblically sound, spiritualizing the whole
Revelation of John to fit that time period is much more complicated and mystical
than I can understand in its totality. And of course it also doesnÕt clearly
address the ÒsixÓ thousand years expressed in Revelation 20:2-7. Matthew 10:16
states "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore
be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.Ó However, an intelligence briefing
utilizing the spiritual considerations of those commentators, for times and
events predating Babylon the great in Revelation Chapter 18, and the power of
this evil world in the light of recent events, this passage becomes much
clearer.
Somewhere in the early hours of the reporting of the
ÒAttack on AmericaÓ it was stated something like Òover half of the stock and
financial transactions in the world, take place in this small area of Manhattan
Island.Ó I have always speculated, along with a number of others, if Babylon
the great could be New York. A lot of it seems to fit, but then again for some
reason, not quite. Revelation mentions the demise of Babylon the great takes
one hour, these terrorist attacks took place in about one fourth that time, and
as of yet we have not seen the demise of significant economic strength.
Islamic fundamentalism seeks to eliminate the infidels
from their positions of power and to promote the perceived superior values of a
fundamentalist Islamic state. Those targeted are all those who do not generally
hold to those values. Specifically, those with the most to fear are, moderate
Moslems, Jews, Christians, and states that support these religions, or do not
support their particular brand of Islam, this includes Israel, the United
States, and even Russia. These Islamic leaders are seeking nothing but world
domination in the name of Allah.
Housed in that small area of Manhattan Island ÒwereÓ the
headquarters of the chief financial institutions of the global economy. Many of these leaders are seeking
nothing but world domination in the name of Greed. This time, for economics
instead of religious fundamentalism, much of the world is set to be duped. But
there is a problem with this New York City headquarters, as great as the Big
Apple is, if you had to create the infrastructure of the global economy all
over again. New York City really isnÕt the place to be. If you could start all
over again, it would be much more profitable to find some other location as the
worldÕs economic center. A nation or land not populated largely by religious
bigots, whether that be Moslem, Jew, or Christian. Especially that land should
not look attractive to religious extremists as a terrorist target, but as an
open economy where all could get the infrastructure they need to promote their
destiny. Just buy an island or island nation, off shore from American
jurisdiction, laws, regulations, and where taxes do not exist. With the right
political spin, this business utopia could be up and operating in less time
than it takes to finish cleaning up the rubble from the demise of the World
Trade Center. In this new location markets and finance could be much more
efficient and the 50,000 workers would love to live in this new warm, crime
free paradise.
Will global financial institutions rebuild in New York
City, or will they as time goes by, move more and more operations to a politically
neutral site(s) outside the United States?. Whatever that decision is, the
future location of Babylon the great will soon be understood by all who desire
to understand that city, or believe it will one day exist.
